Founded by educators and entrepreneurs, our story began in the Netherlands.
In 2023, that same approach — inquiry-based learning paired with real-world entrepreneurship — expanded from Leiden to a new campus in the heart of Lisbon.

CEO
Artem Tolmachev is the founder and CEO of TISA International School, which grew out of Teddy Kids — his bilingual childcare organisation in Leiden.

Our campus is located in the centre of Lisbon. It's a full-day school with classrooms, a gym, cafeteria, reception, library, and an outdoor terrace.

Classrooms are designed to provide a modern educational environment to make the learning process even more effective.
Library
All students are welcome to make use of our library — we have a wide range of books for school and extracurricular reading.
Gym
Our sports classes are fun, active and have an emphasis on participation and are mostly held in our school gym.
Auditorium
TISA auditorium is transformative and can be used for presentations, concerts, performances, forums and many more school activities.
Music Room
A dedicated room for music classes with instruments, special zones for different music activities.
Cafeteria
Organic meals for the whole school community, prepared fresh with options for allergies and dietary needs.
Outdoor Terrace
An outdoor terrace where students can enjoy breaks and outdoor activities during the school day.

Every Wednesday afternoon our students can join swimming lessons.
